about

Paula R. Hilton explores the immediacy of memory and how our most important relationships define us. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Pittsburgh and an MFA from the University of New Orleans.

Her work has been nominated for Best Small Fictions and has appeared in The Sunlight Press, Feminine Collective, Writing In A Woman’s Voice, Dear Damsels,
A. C. PAPA, Smoky Blue Literary and Arts Magazine, Ellipsis, Kalliope and The Tulane Review.

Hilton’s debut novel, Little Miss Chaos, was selected as a 2016 Best Indie Teen Read by Kirkus. She worked with editor, Lynn Skapyak Harlin and publisher, Richie Levine on her first poetry collection, At Any Given Second. Kirkus chose At Any Given Second as one of its Best Books of 2021.
