about

This audio chapbook contains poems from Frances Driscoll's new collection, Seaglass Picnic, a memoir of some real life, a post traumatic stress episode, and something like a love story. These are poems which, in the words of Santa Clara University professor Claudia Monpere, "confront, meditate, reflect, sear, and interrogate. What they refuse to do is be forgotten."

Frances Driscoll grew up in New England. She is the author of two collections of poems - TALK TO ME and THE RAPE POEMS - and is published widely in literary journals. Her work is used by trauma therapists, social workers, and sexual assault awareness training for the U.S. Air Force and U.S. National Guard.

The book, SEAGLASS PICNIC (Pleasure Boat Studio) is available on the publisher's website, from your favorite bookstore, or online from Amazon or Barnes and Noble.
